Build a streak that sticks
How consecutive-day streaks work, what breaks them, and how to set a weekly goal you will actually hit.
Streaks are the simplest motivation Ratz has, and the hardest to argue with. A number that goes up while you show up, and back to zero when you do not.
What counts
Your streak is the number of consecutive days with at least one finished workout. One workout is enough. A 40-minute leg session and a 10-minute stretch both keep the day alive.
Three things to know:
- The workout has to be finished, not just started. An abandoned session does not count.
- Workouts under 5 minutes are not saved, so they do not count either.
- Miss a full day and the streak resets to zero.
Your best streak is safe
A reset does not erase your record. Ratz keeps your max streak permanently. It shows on your profile as a badge and it is the number to chase after a break. Losing a 12-day run stings, but the 12 stays on the board.
Set a weekly goal
Streaks reward daily consistency, which does not suit everyone. If you train four days a week on purpose, a weekly goal is the better measure.
Go to Profile → Goals & Stats → Weekly Goal and pick a number of workouts per week. Your home screen then tracks it live: 2 more workouts to hit your goal, and Weekly goal crushed! when you get there.
Run both if you like. The streak keeps you honest day to day; the weekly goal keeps a rest day from feeling like failure.
